Another whooping in the contractually agreed rematch and then I suppose Arum will try and get a shot at the titles that PW vacates or at one of the other alphabet organisations at 160. I suppose if Pavlik does lose twice, the Duddy fight could still happen further down the road as well.

yeah but where does it leave him in the landscape of boxing?

    bad matchup?
    great champ but limited?
    contender?
    Over rated bum?

i voted for the 2nd option...

(edit: on my votes... not the examples in this post)

Where's the option for 'he wakes up and realises it was just a bad dream'?

You are all about this pretend **** lately.

I'd say it would be a huge loss, I wouldn't go so far as to say he's done but it would be a major set back.

    If plan A and B fails, they still have C, D, E and F.

Poll wasn't up when I posted, WWM. I voted for the second option now that there is a poll. Pavlik is a very good belt holder, IMO- he's just not elite.

I reckon Pavlik will win but for the sake of argument ...

A loss will be a big setback no doubt but there are so many names at 160 - 168 at the moment that it'll only take one win to bounce back in amongst some big fights.

It would do his legacy no good in the long run though.
