Vince. Verno was a junior middleweight :good

Phillips' form at the time was patchy but he was still a big, dangerous 140lber.

You know when you watch a fight but dont make a conscious effort to score or follow scores and you are of the opinion that a fighter got beat and the other fighter won. Hatton looked terrible and his work never really got going, he just lost the fight, as simple as that for me like.

I think Tszyu might have had a decent chance at winning if it wasn't for the refereeing which let a ridiculous amount of fouling go. It allowed Hatton to implement his gameplan, had far too much of a bearing. I know I'm going to be told 'it was a rough fight on both sides etc etc' but....

    No.

And putting "no" at the end of your post means you must be right?

Man up. Theres far too much (very selective!!!) complaining and whinging from a "certain" generation of boxing fan who don't really see, or choose not to see, the big picture.

the internet is a promoters nightmare, especially boxrec :good

seriously tho, the reffing in that fight was as bad as the reffing in mayweather v hatton fight.

Worse. Oh no, Hatton's not allowed to hold. Whilst I agree Cortez should have let them work their way out and fight out of the clinches more often, it was hardly as bad as letting all the rabbit punching, low blows, constant holding and mauling go. And it was constant holding.
