Possibly. Had it not been for the cut, the fight would have raged on, and we can never know who would have won. Best HW fight i've ever seen.

Aw come on. I know we're had **** from the heavies for a while now, but the lore of this fight is out of hand. That was a sloppy ass ****ing fight where one guy had no gas and the other guy got nailed with every jab thrown at him.

You don't even have to go back to the Bowe/Holyfield series or Holyfield/Tyson to get much better fights than that for christ's sake.

Only lady time retired Lennox. He got old and was on the slide and realised he was close to being defeated if he fought again simply because he was past his best. A prime Lennox KO's Vitali in Rd9

 

Exactly how many HW fights have you seen?

 

It was sloppy, but it was a great blood & guts fight while it lasted. Entertaining even if not a display of great technique, ya know?

 

I think Lennox is still having nightmares...
