THis is what an out of shape Lewis did to him. Remember, Vitali took the fight on short notice. Lewis was "getting ready" to fight some bum, & wasn't taking training seriously. Had Lewis been in top form, Vitali might not be around today.

I suspect that Lennox drinks hot chocolate and puts on Aaron Neville and Linda Ronstadts "I dont know Much" before falling a sleep.

I can't believe this bull**** rumbles on. He didn't get cut by a headbutt, he got cut by a PUNCH, you know...the thing you are supposed to avoid in boxing. In other words, Lennox gets credit for bashing his ugly mug, and Vitali gets a big red cross for getting his face mushed by an old ass fighter

Whether he was winning is besides the point, he lost on a cut that was his own fault, and had he continued his eye would be hanging out

Yes but he was up on the cards, didn't sit down very hard at the end of the 6th and the fans gave him rapturous applause because for once he didn't quit. How can you not feel he won the fight and the event?

No matter what you think of the fight, it is difficult to list many heavyweights who timed their retirement better. Marciano obviously, who else?

He's good with it. He won but he wanted no part of a rematch. He has said as much. I heard him on Jim Rome, saying that he thought he would win a rematch, and thats how he knew it was time to get out.

You clearly haven't seen enough Heavyweight fights. Don't get me wrong, that fight was great but the best?, not even close.

Why do people act like its shameful to retire? His prime didn't last forever and he knew it, good on him.

Up on the Cards - Irrelevant - fight was stopped - He LOST:patsch

Rapturous round of applause - bet that made his face feel better!!

How can you not feel he won the fight and the event?

Easy - He lost the fight - the fight IS THE EVENT - which he LOST !!
