Seriously. What were the fight night weights, anyway? I don't recall it being a huge difference. Not like Salido's nearly three-weight-class advantage. Besides, it wasn't the type of fight where a handful of pounds made a big impact. GRJ was out boxed, not bullied around the ring.

There oughta be some recognition that at least on the RBRs and threads I've seen for the fight Lomachenko was universally given respect for his victory by boxing fans of every stripe.

This isn't about '*****s' or other fan bases - there were a few who may have supported GRJ for race related reasons but the same could be said for some of those who supported Lomachenko - nonetheless the vast majority of commentary I've seen has been in acknowledgement of the talent shown by both fighters.

Comments like yours simply serve to exacerbate or inflame conflicts on this site where no issue really existed in this case. Personally, whilst I might support many of the same fighters as yourself, I could live without this kind of post.

The cadre of Russell fans did score the fight in favor of Lomachenko like you stated but they all had it far closer than reality showed.
