50-50 PPV? Because Canelo got a small portion of the PPV at 2.2 mil and Floyd walked away with 80-100 mil. At 50/50 he's making considerably less.

I actually agree that Morales gives the toughtest fight correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Mayweather sr train Erik in the late 99's/early 00's (around the time of the rumoured sparring sessions). That more than likely lead to a very intriguing chess match. Marquez has acknowledged that Mayweather is too good and would beat him at any weight anytime. Barerra I think falls to Mayweather's speed @ 130.

No DUMMY. 50 mil is only 9.5 over what he made vs Canelo. He got about 90% PPV vs Canelo and that only brought him to 80 mil minimum.

41.5 mil + 90%ish PPV = 80-100 million
50 mil + 50% PPV = 70-80 million, maybe more depending on how well it sells.

They project 3 mil buys? That's 1 mil over the Canelo fight, which makes it 33% more. Add 33% of the PPV to his earnings from the Canelo fight, it's roughly 80-90 million dollars.

@ 130 I would favor Mayweather to defeat each of them despite all being tough matches. His physique and skills at that weight were out of this world. None of the "big three Mexicans" of the era would have been able to make a war out of it while out landing Floyd. Morales probably would be toughest among them.

 

you're forgetting the a$$ whooping morales put on pac in their first fight and morales switching to southpaw in the 12th round, now that was BOSS!
