Yeah I know. I said, 'till recently.' I'll be honest I haven't been impressed at all by his pro fights. He looks horrendously sluggish and sloppy, almost a completely different fighter. I'm not asking how he'll do as a pro because I don't think it'll be particularly well, but his best years were spent in the WSB, and he looked an absolutely relentless fighter there. It's on that run of form that I'm taking him back to the 50s for.

He'd definitely be Mike or Mikey something. I like the Irish Mikey Nestor one personally. Maybe Mickey Nestorio, the Italian Bull. Depends on the demographic they were going for.

He's a novice in the pro league, and 10-12 rounds is a long time

Mikey "Wild"West , he has fundamental talent but depends on who trains and develops him - 2 very important factors - 1 a trainer utilises a fighters strengths and tries to build around a fighters weaknesses . 2-The management or the one in charge of development matches him according to his progress - Right now he needs experience and would have trouble with experienced guys

It just bothers me when talanted fighters just let it all go to pieces because they cant put the knife and fork down.
I dont get it growing up and watching guys like Norton Lyle Holmes then later Tyson Holy Klitschko's ect these guys were all in shape. No flab or fat hanging off then. So many guys just have talent but not the discipline to match

That's the one big underrated factor in greatness, the discipline to stay in shape. Marciano had the same fat boy genes as Nistor, but he never came into a fight out of shape. He took the pro game seriously, and that's why he overachieved so much.
