I agree with what Steward said tonight, the fight that is to be made is Mosley-Pac, Floyd-Pac will be boring regardless of who you think will win. It will really be irrelevant who wins that fight as it will be a bigger snoozer then tonights fight.

Meanwhile, Pac and Shane are both offensive minded fighters who came straight forward like bulls. I like shane's chances much more tonight then I previously did. First of all Clotty has Pac a bit swollen and what is suprising about that is that Clotty isnt a hard puncher and he didnt even land that many shots. If you look at Pac's ear tonight it was almost as bad as when he fought Cotto. If Clotty can swell Pac then Shane can do much more damage. I also think Shane is faster then Clotty and if Clotty could catch Pac with some clean solid shots shane will as well. Also, unlike Clotty shane will attack pac all night he is not a counter puncher like Clotty, he is very agressive and will not be gun shy. Shane has trouble with boxers and movers and Pac doesnt have that kind of style.

    Thoughts?

Not sure but Im positive it would be a KO, If Mosley hasnt gotten old id lean towards Shane. The one that fought Margarito kos Pac, the one who fought Cotto and Mayorga would lose to Pac.

NO CHANCE Mayweather vs. Mosley could be boring than this. NONE. I don't care if Floyd attempts to win the Boston Marathon in the process of winning, he'll at least be showy and impressive in doing so. This fight irritated and upset everyone at the bar I attended tonight. Bob Arum **** on boxing. **** that piece of ****.

Pac wins. Way too much angles, way too much footspeed, balance, positioning... and most of all the accuracy and speed of Pac. The angles and quickness in both hand and foot make it a Mosley stoppage somewhere around round 8-12. No doubt Pac would be more favored against Mosley than he would Mayweather.

It would be an action pack fight while it happened, similarly to Cotto vs Pac fight.

For the good of the sport, lets hope Mosely beats PBF...twice to make this fight happen.

The undercard was dissapointing, Especially Castillo who has pissed me off later in his career against Hatton and now Gomez, Was always a warrior but has turned into real slacker and quitter.

It's a tough one because Mosley is no Clottey. He has awesome power and doesn't just stand there with his hands up eating shots. Personally I see it ending in a stoppage, the part up for questionis who comes out on top. I have always said Shane so will stick with that for now. It's a pick em.

I think if you find the idea of Pac and Mosley playing rock em sock em more interesting than the clash of an offensive powerhouse vs a defensive savant then you're a poor boxing fan.

Punch count should not be the only measure of excitement.

Pac did call out Mosley though. I thought that was awesome. i thought he kinda ducked Mayweather after Kellerman questioned him.

Shane knocks out Pacquiao in the middle rounds or Pacquiao makes him look old.

Mosley's too open for Pacq's punches. Pacq is nothing like Margarito in the ring, he's way more elusive, way harder to hit cleanly.

Mosley won't have the luxury of a defensive shell ala Clottey, so... I dunno, I really think Mosley'd get stopped. Because the sheer output Pacq would throw at him... and with Mosley's D being bad... he'd get stopped.

By the way Mosley is punching so wide against Margo and a a long layoff..He may be shot at this point. I cant fathom him catching Pac at all and he better not trade with wide telegraph bombs.

Mosley has handspeed that can compete with Pac's, and is not afraid to open up with it or take the punches the way Clottey was. Plus, he has really explosive power behind it.

I love both these guys, and I can see Pacquiao giving Shane a lot of problems with movement and angles, (Shane's footwork was never great and it has really gone to hell in the last few years) and Shane will have to make some adjustment just to plant himself solidly and get leverage into his punches, but regardless of how good his movement is, Manny is going to get hit a fair amount by Shane, and I wonder if he'll be able to stand up to it.

Shane is a legit KO puncher, something Clottey never has been.
