Go to 1:42. If pac lands that same left Floyd will be dazed.

The Floyd that fought Corley has evolved into a deferent fighter, just as pac as evolved. I doubt Floyd will make those type of mistakes again.

That was a wide, looping right hook against an overly aggressive Floyd. Manny throws his right hook short and a little straighter. Besides, Floyd was a little careless in that fight. He will be a little more cautious with manny's power.

The only thing floyd will see that night if he use that defence will be the LEFT HOOK of pac. If he change his defence, Manilla Ice will kill him.

he actually took that punch pretty well and knew enough to pull back out of range from the next ones

If southpaws DeMarcus Corley and Zab Judah can get through and rock/stun Mayweather, I don't see why Pacquiao couldn't do it. Perhaps the shoulder roll doesn't work so good against a lefty..

I mean...honestly I didn't give PAC much of a chance in beating Floyd....but after his last perfromance. PAC can beat Floyd....but I have a feeling Floyd won't be coming into this fight looking for a KO. I see him constantly moving...using the jab and trying to pot shot 95% of the time. He'll have a hard time landing on PAC with that style but it will be even harder for PAC to land on Floyd who will look to be very fleet footed.

I have seen him (PBF) say in interviews he is aware of how people looks for habits, and that's what he is always altering his style, fight to fight, round to round. He won't do the same thing the whole...walk, bounce, slide, jab from range, lead with the right, fight in the pocket, etc.

    It doesn't.

The orthodox shoulder roll is designed to mitigate straight rights, not straight lefts and right hooks. The orthodox shoulder roll is blind to a right hook. It is also usually bad positioning against a straight left.

Of course if you are fast and experienced, a slow inexperienced lefty won't expose it.

Floyd's defensive game is simpler than it looks. He rolls and tucks to the right, mitigating virtually anything on his left side. Then he just focuses on his right side (their left side).

Now, as long as you are in with a slow, predictable opponent who doesn't throw counters you are alright. Once the speed turns up however, and the counters are thrown in, that shoulder roll becomes a penalty to your sight. It masks the right hook too much and forces you to pay so much attention to incoming left hooks that the right and uppercuts can get through.

This is probably why the shoulder roll defense wasn't so popular in the old days. It works today simply because ordinary boxers can't get through it. They can't solve it. Neither can their trainers unfortunately.

Doubt it, when was the last time anyone saw Mayweather seriously hurt or dazed?

Mayweather hasn't been hit enough in his career to be dazed from one punch Pacquiao lands. If anything I expect to see Pac dazed and slightly stunned after some shots by Mayweather, that doesn't mean Pac will be out on his feat or knocked down, nope, just stunned. That's just how I feel, this is boxing and that punch could actually KO him for all I know.

Shoulder roll, I don't see any body stay on the ropes taking punches from Pacquiao and like it very much.He hits too hard.Floyd's shoulder roll.If it's the best defense well if he can actually pull it off then he is a freak.I got a feeling he will be sore as **** tho!! IF any one can pull it off it's FLOYD.

lateral movement. the best in the business.

now the real question is: how does pac hit mayweather when he's got his back to him or his head between his legs?
