again you guys arent reading the post thoroughly, you see a comparison between Pac and SRR and you guys go ape **** without thinking it through. SRR didnt fight half those guys until after 30.
Should have probably check your facts first champ. Ray fought Zivic x 2, Lamotta x 6, Angott x 3, Armstrong, Gavilan x 2 before he was 30..aswell as several other very good fighters. Only Basillio and Fullmer he faced after 30 on that list.
Sure is, you should check it out more often as it is a good source of info on past fights and it would have kept you from speaking out of yo a$$ about how SRR hadn't fought good competition before 30. Edit: I bet you added "arguably" after Whatarock posted, it is evident that you edited your post some time after you posted it. Anyway, there is no arguing about this issue.
Well, that's what you said, compared to Pac of course. You did say that Pac "arguably" has fought better comp and has accomplished more at 30 years of age, which is simply not true, no matter how much you like the guy.
Seriously dude, you need to stop accusing me of saying **** I never said its getting annoying. Accomplished Yes, better Comp No. There is no question SRR has the names but in terms of accomplishments, winning titles, weight jumping with success, awards (P4P, FOTY..etc) there is a legit case for Pacman. Im still trying to figure why you are accusing me of berating SRR's competition when I never did.
I'm not trying to accuse you of anything. But how could Pac have accomplished more than SRR without fighting better comp is beyond me. You can't claim one man has done more significant things than the other, without meaning he's fought better comp. Yes Pac is high on everyone's p4p ATG list and deservedly so, but claiming he has a legit case for becoming p4p ATG #1 anytime soon (or even worse claiming he has a case RIGHT NOW) is just ridiculous.
who do you feel is more accomplished and who has fought the better comp. record overall in their careers between RJJ and Hopkins? ( i may be tongue in cheek here because I know you are a heavy RJJ fan ) and i never said Pac is going to be ATG #1 anytime soon, i implied hes only is 30 and has plenty of time.
