He would have had to have 100 fights ... long reigns as champion ... win a junior middleweight title ... or have been active during he 30's

Its almost impossible for him do do that.

    However....

    Cotto win
    Mayweather ko win
Paul Williams Ko win/Pavlik ko win (depending on who wins)
    end Hopkins career at 170
Beat Calzaghe(175) in hes comeback and send him back into quick retirement
challenge klitchkos 1 after the other and beat them both.............then hes really close

howis anyone the #1 all time great...it is just opinion...I think pac is GREAT but he has not beaten any prime fighters that were stars aside from JMM who i feel beat pac in the second fight...he would have to beat cotto, floyd, and maybe even paul williams to be considered alongside the SRR SRL armstrongs...Floyd has a better chance cuz he has never been beat if he beats JMM, pacman, cotto, and then PW at MW maybe....to never taste defeat is amazing if those are on ur resume

higher than duran? don't think so and i'm not being biased on this. pacquiao would have to beat a top welter, in this case cotto(duran beat leonard), beat a solid 154lber(davey moore), and then the top 160lber, either pavlik or abraham(duran beat barkley.) still, duran was at an advanced age when he did this and he was alittle unconsistent. manny would have a long ways to pass duran, who is easily top 5 atg. i don't see him passing duran, but somewhere in the top 50. of course, he's not finished yet

All those ATG's you mentioned started at a higher weight than pac. Pacquiaos got lineal belts below 135 and fought tremendous fighters.

it's impossible for pac to reach the #1 position, and i think no one can surpass the resume of the top 3 ATGs

it simply wont happen, fighters these days make way too much money to even think about having as many fights as they did back then, the best he can hope to do is be the greatest modern day fighter

you simply can't compare the career of fighters these days to fighters back then, because the whole game is completely different

As good as he is in my opinion he can never be rated as 1 ATG or even close to the top 10, he is really good and easily the best around at the moment however boxing is not as good as it used to be and everyone nose that so i dont think he can rank anywhere close however i do think he is probably the best in this decade
