Floyd has no such thing in his arsenal as "HUGE" counters. Pacs eats his punches first then eats Mayweather whole later. KO Pac 9-12

Speed is probably the best defence for counters. Paccy Mannyiao, nope, Manny Macquiao, nope, sorry, Manny Pacquiao has lots of speed.

He could take Mayweathers best shots. I have doubt about that now.

Floyd has little balls though, he won't be countering, he will run the whole fight.

Mayweather's best quality is that he's there but not there at the same time. In his best performances he's fought at middle range and you watch the fight and wonder why the other guy doesn't attack him. It's because the fighter can't see an opportunity. You can't just punch into an abyss. I've not seen many fighters like him. It's incredible.

Pacquiao has a lot of skill himself and is very quick so maybe he'll be able to figure Mayweather out. But I'm not sure.

this fight will be awesome, at first i thought floyd would skool pacman with counters all night, but after what pac did to cotto am not so sure.

all am going to say pacman today is alot more fully fighter he was compared to when he fought david diaz, his defense is stil alittle **** but he can takes shots from cotto so unless pac is foolish he should be able to handle floyds power.

floyd-pac needs to be done, and i think everybody wants the fight, but it seems to me that roach, arum, now even alex ariza dont want this fight. i hope the relations between GBP, and top rank doesnt ruin this matchup.

Where do you get the idea that Roach doesn't want Mayweather? He said "I want Mayweather" at least four times last night after the fight.

This is the problem with most peopl'es analysis. Last night was an exciting fight, and now everyone is so caught up in the fight, predict Mayweather-Pac based on how Pac looked aginst Cotto. Thats just not smart. Coto doesn't have the speed, skills, timing or ring intelligence of Mayweather. Cotto was able to disrupt Pac's rhythm by simply boxing and circling. Someone with a higher degree of boxing skills could pose a problem. I really hope the fight gets made.

Go in from angles. Floyd counters are mainly for fighters coming straight ahead. Plus Judah laid dwn the blueprint for lefties to get at Floyd. I am not going to talk about who will win. Floyd has only had 1 fight against a guy 12 lbs heavy. Not a good look. Tired of talking who will win between Floyd/Manny. Every1 is trying to discredit Pac everytime he blows by a fighter. When Floyd sign the contract then we can talk.

well maybe you should read my full comment, reason why i am not sure now is because pacman can handle cotto's power so unless hes foolish he should be okay with floyds power. am not saying pac would kill floyd but it will be competitive because pacman can handle the strength of a proper WW.

It took Floyd 10 rounds to KO chinny, completely open Hatton, with the help of a ringpost. Hatton even won a few rounds. I see this as a 50/50 fight but with pac's speed, pac's ability to counter from ANY angle in the middle of a combination makes him dangerous for absolutely anyone. When Floyd opens up, hes in danger. He will have to stop using his shoulder roll too, as orthodox shoulder roll is no good against fast southpaw as the straight left goes right down the middle. If Floyd stands still ducking and diving, id like to see him dodge 5 blistering punches in a combination...if he can pull it off full credit to him.
