Probably about average, but there aren't any huge punchers that it would be worth him facing anyway. Mosley's probably the biggest. It's not like he'd fight Cintron or Bailey.

Yeah, definitely. Cotto dropped him with a jab. You think Clottey has a good chin, but wait til Pac cracks him on it. He is getting stopped. Brutally.

If you can base it on him being knocked down with a jab then why did he not dent him from that point on? Why did he have Cotto on his bike from Round 7 until the end of the fight?

Anyone with a brain knows that KD (which was legit) had nothing to do with chin, and was all about balance.

Well, it's hard to say. He's gone from being knocked out by a soft jab to taking Cotto's punches without blinking.

Pacquiao does not have a great chin, he has speed; that's why his chin hasn't been exposed at "welterweight". Cotto is a bruising puncher who does cumulative damage, not a sharp puncher who who can get a guy out of there with one shot. Pacquiao has a solid chin, but has been visibly touched several times in the lower weight classes. If he ever fights a knockout puncher with the speed to keep up with him, I don't see him surviving. So no, his chin in no way should be compared to Clottey's or Mosley's.

I would say GOOD enough... He wouldn't be there right now if he has questionable chin right?!

I wouldn't say he has an Antonio Margarito chin, in that he can eat power shots like tic tacs. But he certainly has a great chin up at welterweight, one that'll help him survive fights with the bigger guys.

But for a little guy who's not even a natural welterweight, yes he has a superman chin

dont know how some of you can rate his chin so easily. fact is, pac has rarely been hit at 140 and 147. the only fight you can judge, is the cotto fight. he did eat some serious puches and got hurt, but took it. but cotto is not an explosive puncher. hes a good solid puncher, wiht heavy hands. this suggests that pac has a good ability to take punishment at 147 but that dosent mean he wouldnt get dropped or possibly koed at 147 if caught with the right punch. however that could probably said about anybody. and there arent a bunch of ko artists at 147 so his chin is good enough, as far as you can tell.

MP really only had one WW fight where he got tagged pretty good. His chin is above average but he needs to fight more welter weights for me to really gage how good his chin is. SSM and AM definitely has a better chin.
