How does Pernell Whitaker (who fought Chavez) do against the best Welterweights?

    Even though both Whitaker and Chavez were above their best weight class when they fought Whitaker still showed brilliance at WW. How does Whitaker, who fought Chavez, do against the very best WW such as SRR, Leonard, Duran, Hearns, Benitez, Napoles, etc.? Can he also bamboozle them with his skills much like he did against Chavez?

    I think he'd be competitive with all of them and had the ability to frustrate them although I do think his lack of size at this weight would ultimately count against him.

    We're talking about some of the best WWs in history here so there's no shame if he loses. He'd be underdog in all of those matchups, for sure.

    He'd be very competitive with all of them, I think he'd lose to them all tho, 50-50 with Duran
