Bowes inside game was ferocious and he was powerful as well. Fury is better technically but imo he doesnt have the feats that suggest he could handle bowe for 12 rounds. He beat old wlad but wlad used his reach, size, outside game and immense power to beat his opponents. That style was easily shut down by fury as fury was the bigger man, had a longer reach, was faster and was technically better. Wlads inside game is next to none which is why he always clinches. Deontay wilder doesnt have good inside game either lmao. If fury beats joshua then then its definitely arguable but until that happens i just dont think he could beat prime bowe

Bowe wasn't a very agile boxer but he was fortunate to be in an era where he was 99% of the time the taller, bigger man so usually had smaller men coming to him instead of moving and exploiting his slow feet. Fury obviously has fantastic movement, if Tubbs and even Holyfield in the 2nd fight can take many rounds off him with a little movement then Fury would no doubt give Bowe all kinds of problems.

Bowe was also easy to hit with the jab, Golota and Biggs showed that and again Fury has a fantastic jab, so I'm pretty confident that if Fury decided to jab and move he'd win a decision.

Bowe of course is exceptional on the inside but he'd have to actually get into range to apply that part of his game and even in the isolated moments he could get Fury on the inside and get to work, Fury has a decent chin and amazing powers of recovery, he isn't scoring a one punch or sudden come from behind KO. Bowe would need to grind Fury down and I just don't see him getting to Fury often enough to do that and Fury is no slouch himself on the inside and knows how to clinch too.

If Fury manages to fight at range, for twelve rounds, like the first Wilder fight...it’s 50/50.

If he comes at Bowe like the second Wilder fight, Bowe knocks him out.

It’s hard to pick against Bowe because he has better punch resistance than Fury. Bowe took solid punches from Holyfield and survived the storm.

Fury has been hurt by guys like Firtha and Cunningham knocked him down. None of those guys hit with Bowes power nor do they have his inside game.
