How does someone beat Manny Pacquaio?

pac has improved since marquez. even freddie saisd so. i say floyd because he is a defensive genius and fast, but even then pac will give him a tough fight.

I hate to say it but someone like mayweather would stand a very good chance.

 

jab and run...its easy.

 

If I was training someone to fight Manny Pacquiao here is how I would do it.

One, use your damn jab!!! If you engage Manny on the inside and try to trade power punches with him he is going to eat your lunch. You need a taller fighter with an excellent jab and straight left hand. It would be preferable if he was also a southpaw like Manny because it is harder for an orthodox fighter to hit a southpaw with a jab.

Two, you have to be committed to never be standing in one place. You have to keep sticking and moving. Manny has a feast with guys that stand in one place and just cover up, that is how he gets off those big ten and fifteen punch flurries.

Three, the fighter has to have a helluva chin. Manny is going to land at some point and he is pretty good at taking out hurt fighters.

Four, DON"T GO FOR THE KNOCKOUT!!!! Be content to box and win rounds. If you get him hurt take your chance, but don't go in to brawl with him.

Fifth and most important, BRASS BALLS!!!! You need a fighter with a huge set of them to take on a beast like that, stay disciplined, and work your fight plan.

 

i really don't know, sooner or later SSM will show his AGE AGAIN, i'd hate to see it, IMO a young Mosley would beat Pac, would've KO'd Cotto, and would even be able to handle PBF, but he is almost 38 so its time to hang em up, IMO.

That sounds alot like Paul Williams, I couldn't imagine Roach lettin Pac fight him though, he is just so much bigger.

 

Pac can't really box either, i'd take a good version of SSM to beat him.

This ain't about what Pac can do though, and yes I'd say he can... He'd stay on the outside move in and out with his chin down, jab out, guard up, and just flurry all night while occasionally turning him with the right hook to keep him guessing and in the center of the ring,....

Mosley can not and has never been able to handle an elite boxer, in fact I'd even say a prime Shane gets outboxed by Pac

Mosley does his best work against brawlers and other punchers, Roach would know this so Pac would never trade with him, i'd take Pac by UD, though I'm sure he wouldn't be the betting favorite based off the fact that people will think "Mosleys fast, can hit, and has a granite chin, plus he's bigger so he can't lose"
