Does his propensity to rely on his physical attributes like superhuman amounts of heart and toughness catch up to him just like it did in his own era? Does he last any longer in the 50's or 60's or is he still shot at 33 after less then a decade as a pro? Does he have more success against men that are on the whole smaller and that he would enjoy a size and reach advantage over? He did have a 83 inch reach.

How does he do against the likes of hyped knockout artist like Gerry Cooney and Tommy Morrison for example? I think he's clearly H2H better then Morrison and a fight with Cooney would be truly 50/50. Either Cooney early or Izon weathers the storm as he did and grinds Cooney down after absorbing a beating.

Also, anyone remember Izon's fight with Odum? Fun scrap while it lasted. Odum really came to fight sometimes, some fun fights on his resume when he bothered to show up. Izon ended the fight with one punch that had Odum bounce off the canvas hard. Never seen anyone mention that one.

    What say you?
