How Does The 37 Y.O. Roberto Duran That Beat Barkley Fair Against Today's Pavlik?

yea it was a bit harsh, but people do over rate old scool fighters..

durans too small anyway, pavliks a giant compared to him

 

Duran was the greatest 135 man of all time,head to head one of the greatest at 147. At 154 and 160 he was at huge disadvantages but still good enough to trounce cuevas and moore,go 15 and give fits to hagler and beat a huge middle in barkley. No duran was not an atg at 160 but he could hold his own with many in history at 160. I dont think many stop duran at 160,and duran could beat many of the come forward brawler/puncher types at 160.
Ps; barkley,benitez,hagler and many others were huge compared to duran also. I dont think pavlik is bigger than barkley who went to 175 then heavy.

 

i think pavlik wins a close UD against duran that time..i want to see pavlik more against a world class fighter
