How does the Adamek-Cunningham result reflect on Chad Dawson?

I think the results of Adamek performance at cruiser reflect the most Paul Briggs who gave
the hell ride for Adamek in their two fights. I hope Briggs will be back someday.

The one thing that people tend to forget is that Dawson is a lefty and Adamek always had problems with southpaws. These things seldom change and the fact that Adamek's defence hasn't really gotten any better since the Briggs fights, wouldn't help either.

I like both and would like to see a rematch at cruiser once Dawson starts moving up in weight. If Chad carries on improving and sticks to Eddie Mustafa Muhammad then my money would be on him.

Dawson now has a win over a guy who is the Ring and lineal cruiserweight champ. Surely that must make his resumee look stronger - similarly as Hopkin's win over Pavlik made Joe's win over Hopkin's look far more impressive.

The whole weight-drainage / knockdown business is irrelevant IMO. Adamek took the fight, so ex ante he must have fought he could win it. Dawson won it despite being knocked down - and ultimately, that's all that matters.

    nowt.
i see dawson losing to cunningham even if dawson beat adamek and adamek beat cunnigham.
    the styles are different.
bit like pavlik beating taylor twice, taylor beating hopkins twice and hopkins kicking the **** out of pavlik.
same goes with dawson v cunningham.

Adamek has now proved himself to a higher level than he had prior to the Dawson fight.

Of course it should affect our perception of that win for Dawson.

Not sure what makes you so certain sheep-cowboy, but even if true - the above is of no relevance to the question in the thread.
