How does the career of Dubois compare to Bruno`s after the same number of fights?

For a guy 6'5" tall, his reach its a little short. But yeah its problem as the better guys have several inches on him, and like I said he doesn't have a fight controlling jab.

Eh I beg to differ. Dubois finds better angles and pic he's to the body better. Certainly jabs better to set up his combos.

I really like him. I think he's a future world champion and is being bought along nicely by Warren. I also like the different styles of opponents he has faced in the last year or so as well.

 

Bruno had to be held up by his trainers at the end of the Smith fight, when he got hurt he just turned into a zombie, like when Jumbo Cumings hurt him, his legs just went.

Bruno ws getting caught in the last few rounds v a sloppy, flabby Witherspoon, it was just a brawl with no skill, anyway at the end Bruno again had to be held up by the ref and couldn`t stand on his own steam, he got pulverised.

I know one thing his trainers aren't teaching him to throw punches correctly.Hes knocking guys out just from heavy handed,but incorrect form is also taking speed off his punches.

If anyone goes to youtube watch Frank Bruno teach him to turn his punches over ( meaning technique) and he learned more in that one session than his entore fights combined but if his coaches don't teach him how is he himself going to ?

What DDD has is obstacles bc many guys hit hard today. Bruno had a few power guys but not like DDD will face, and combined ring IQ talent of Olympians are a lot here ,Yolka, Dychko and Usyk to name a few . Guys like Joyce who will be favored right now, Hrgovic great ring IQ and possibly Vlad Sirenko who dropped him not long ago are around. You then have other pummelers like Ajagba/ Mahkmudov and Bakole lurking .

DDD has already defeated Gorman who is a above average fighter,in fact hes still a top prospect ,just bc he lost to DDD ppl have short term memories so his career is ahead of Bruno,make no mistake Bruno could fight better but he would get stopped by DDD on atheltic ability and pure power alone,he wasn't as durable.

I trained under Bill sharkey briefly ( Brunos 18th opponent) just uselss info here, he said he was the second hardest puncher he fought. I fought the first and didn't lose like sharkey...yea that's right. lol

 

Whilst a massive Bruno fan myself, he was in fact knocked down by Bonecrusher smith when he got stopped, and was knocked down in RD1 in the first Tyson fight.

 

Bruno has only been stopped when fatigued that's a fact not including M.Tyson the only guy to K.O him without fatigue setting in.

Cant really OVERATE Bruno when hes losing to guys like Lewis and M.Tyson and a few unnecessary losses which happens always in boxing.

 

He was stopped by the referee in both MT fights, he was never knocked out.

 

The point is hes only been legit stopped by M.Tyson. Stamina has been the issue in other fights,remind you he was winning against Lewis as well.

 

My contention is with the OPs assertion that Bruno was a “media hyped” boxer!

He was no such thing at all and to argue that he was is pure stupidity!

 

The Ant’s hatred and bias towards Bruno is well known over on classic though he claims he was once a big fan of his. Lol. I think He must have lost his pants and all his cash betting on Bruno in all his biggest fights and now hates the guy.

 

Im pretty sure hes not old enough to be around when Bruno was active.
