If any of those fights come off (Floyd/Mosley, Pacquiao/Mosley, Mosley/Pacquiao) I will be willing to bet large sums on the outcomes. Floyd over both (no doubt), Pacquiao over Mosley (more doubt there, but I'd be confident on the outcome). I think people are really overrating the old Mosley of today based on his win over Margarito. Let's not forget he got out-boxed by Cotto of all people, so I don't think too highly of his chances against Floyd at all, especially if he continues to deteriorate.

What really impressed me was Pac's ability to be flexible and adjust weight and balance when throwing combinations at Cotto backing away. This flexibility makes him able to utilise angles in a rarely seen fashion even against a moving opponent.

While Cotto of course isn't in Mayweather's league in terms of defensive movement, I can see this presenting Floyd with problems.

I must say that Pac is somehting as rare as a true natural; someone totally in tune with his body when fighting. There's not many like that - Ali, Jones, Whitaker, but not that many more.

Most, if not all of the greats exhibit this ability.

Out of the CH4 news position and your position, I probably find myself closer to the CH4 than yours, by which I only mean that I consider it his best win and a really big deal for his ATG status and legacy.

Having said that, here's a quote from the current news story:

"Using non-disabled actors to depict disabled characters in film is the modern equivilant of blacking up"

Pac should rank above Julio Cesar Chavez.

Like every other ability, there are degrees. I agree with Bokaj that Pacquiao has "more" of this than almost every other fighter.

    Channel 4 said that?

Utter ****s. Truly ****ed up people.

I am more disappointed with human society than the time Ian Darke looked me in the eye, through the television, and put Jack Dempsey in his top ten - pound-for-pound.

He knows **** all, and so do the Channel 4 **** heads, who, as it turns out, also condone such horrors as 'Ugly Betty', skinny jeans and ****ing **** music.

That's how I tend to look at it. There's a little sliver of doubt in my mind concerning Pacquiao-Mosley, but not enough for me to feel confident in Shane winning; he's been past his best for some time now, even if he did fustigate Margarito. Pacquiao isn't that neanderthal by a long stretch and the way he handled Cotto's punches has given me a bit more confidence regarding his ability to take a shot at the higher weights, though Cotto is a bit overrated as a puncher.

I'll not regard Mayweathers 'legacy' with much greater respect even if he beats Pacquiao and/or Mosley; he'll do both if he ever works up the spine to face them.

I want Pac to batter him, but I don't hold out too much hope even if picking against Pacquiao seems unfair given his recent exploits.

Manny is five weight champion who has spanned 8 weights over his career, his has beaten fellow HOFers in Morales, Barrera, Marquez, De La Hoya, Cotto and Haton with other impressive victories over Oscar larios and David Diz amongst others. He has 38 KOs and has been in several classic battles which have lead him to earn sevrl FOTYs and Best fighter of the year awards. He has been a P4P champion for near 2 years in a time which has included other great fighters such as Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather, Shane Mosley and Joe Calzaghe.
I would rate him in the top 30 at the minute but he has a real chance of cermenting his place near the all time greatests if he can win some mre mega matches ith the likes of Mayweather and Mosley, maybes he can even move up to light middle and win another ABC title

Something just doesn't seem right to me about everyone now rating Pac so much higher than Marquez. He's neck an neck with him as a fighter and i don't feel it's just a case of JMM being a clearly inferior tough stylistic matchup.

Have these jumps up in weight and recent wins really made such a difference?.Or maybe is it just proving the arguement of talent being much more important than weight in some\ a lot of cases. shot DLH, average Hatton, solid Cotto, excellent Pac....

Just playing devils advocate here and trying to stoke discussion.

The guy that was neck and neck with Marquez in the rematch has not suddenly become some uber fighter far beyond what he was.I see mArquez nowhere on anyone's top 50 or hell even top 100's.Is he really that much worse than Pac?Does the weight jumping make that much of a difference?.Genuine questions to ponder btw, not meant as combative remarks.

I'm not trying to imply that being close to JMM as the best man you ever fought(at the time you fought them) is a bad thing btw, far from it.BUt i find it tough not to use that as a benchmark of where pac is, rather than the fact he has been successful in a lot of weight divisions. It's tough to use the as the benchmark in this era of fewer fights against fewer formidable contenders.

as far as Pac over Jones.Jones was a true weight jumper as well and probably the best fighter in the world for a decade, the level of fighter like Marquez that were a true test for Pac were no test at all for Roy.Say what you want about Toney being drained...i prefer to say his limitations were exposed by the best fighter he ever fought.

That's actually too mild a description. Genuinely too mild. The human race has **** all of a chance in the future.
