Ortiz personally, the only thing putting me off is that size. Strength is no joke. In a p4p sense though Ortiz, that's lightweight form though. As much of a beast as he was down at 135, i thought of him a better fighter at 147, more proven anyway, for sure. In a p4p at their very best sense, it could go either way, Ortiz could lose to top fighters, he always won as well though.

I don't know about all that stuff, PowerPuncher surely does though. But what i do know is when you look at him at 135 he looks lanky even though he's not tall, like he has Jimmy Bivins arms or something. Must have been at the lowest he could make i'd say.

He was comfortable at 135 though wasn't he? I read a quote of his after he won the 140 title saying 'i'm a lightweight and i want the lightweight championship'

I think thats exactly what Mayweather is into these days. Easy paydays, easy fights, one of the reasons I fear he may now avoid PacMan after seeing the Cotto fight.

No, I thought Tyson would beat Douglas routinely.
Why ask a question if you cant handle the answer ? I thought Manny should beat Oscar, and I dont know why you have a problem believing that. Just like I thought RJJ would beat Ruiz.

v.Mayweather, Oscar was good for about 30 seconds a round, 60 in his better rounds, and most of that "aggression" was token stuff. Arm punches with the side of the glove, with PBF responding in kind usually with jabs that stop 6 inches away from the face.

Yes, Mayweather wants the easy paydays, but the money that a showdown with Pacquiao might generate could tempt him to take on a tough fight.

Youre right ODLH was only landing arm punches. I didnt score them for ****, reason I posted I didnt feel the fight was close. I think Oscar tried more than your giving him credit for, Floyd is just too good at maintaining control of the fight, and hes just too quick of feet for most of his opponents. He doesnt exactly ever fight at a blistering pace, especially against a fighter who cant force him to. Pac would be a different story, but then again so is Floyds jab and footwork, something that could make Pac look silly.

I thought the first fight was quite a wide win for Marquez maybe im in the minority.

I thought both fights could have been scored a draw but if anyone deserve dthem Marquez did. If you understand that

I thought the fight was arguably a close one, at the time. Even as far as a draw, arguably. But I still wasn't impressed with ODLH and it didn't prove he was anything other than an over-the-hill fighter. Floyd's style was to coast, and maybe too much in that fight.
It's really not a fight I care to analyse too deeply because I really dont think it was meant to be a do-or-die effort on the part of either man. I dont want to say ODLH didn't try. I dont want to say Mayweather didn't try.
But it had the feeling of "Let's do the 12 rounds and wake up tomorrow even richer, and still pretty" written on it.
