The whole pint is that a fat washed up Frazier improved on his performance in the first fight, and flashed the ability to compete with Foreman. Effectively evading, countering and perhaps even taking a round or two from Foreman before running out of gas builds a case that the first fight was lost do to a poor approach and overconfidence. And had Frazier applied these tactics when in better shape, he could have gave Foreman a hard fight.

Frazier's success in the fight should not be denied or wrote off, it should be considered.

He was also Hispanic champ after his defeat of Bonavena, a title he defended in the rematch and against Ramos. That vacant title was won by Teofilo Stevenson.

I put your post up direct from the other thread. you problem is you can't ever admit to being wrong just like Bummy and Mendoza, are you related? I gave you my scoring of the fight all rounds 10-9 for Foreman with the 4th possibly being an even 10-10 round.
Under the spotlight, you've diluted and qualified your scoring three times. Credibility has flown accept it sweetie.
    YOU ARE BLOWN!
I went to bed early because I had to get up early.
NOTICE THE TIME I AM POSTING NOW ? You really need to raise your game:patsch

And I thank you for following up with my ACTUAL direct post, because it shows you likely made a typo or deliberate mistake that created a storyline that isn't there.

I didn't ask for scoring, anybody can post numbers, I asked for observations. Instead I get called "sweetie" and said I'm "blown" and told to "raise my game" :blood

do you think I meant by "blown it"? :think

I made no mistake ,no typo, you ****ed up and compounded it by saying,
    " that doesn't make sense."
Just say," oh yeah I got it wrong," we all do you know .

I've had to come on here and eat humble pie several times.
How important is this to you ?:huh
You've already stated you have no regard for the majority of the posters here.
Just come down from Mount Sinai and join us mortals.

You were right! Stiverne lost and surely deserved to.
Lack of a game plan, lack of head movement, lack of a jab ,lack of condition, and the inability to cut off the ring.
    He was comprehensively schooled.

I picked him to win and I was wrong big time!
And admitting it is not the slightest bit painful to me.

You should try it some time.:yep

Actually the rematch is one of George's best career performances .. yes Frazier played it smarter by a less direct approach but Foreman also improved by staying calm, not losing his head and absolutely destroying Frazier with a nasty , patient attack .. if he fought w this poise in Zaire he may have kept his title .. the monster body shots he handed on Joe were painful to see .. for the first time in his career Joe let a fight be stopped .. he was very badly hurt ...

Funny thing, Joe still shook his head "no" when they stopped it.

    And my heart will bleed.
    **** off dough nut!
If you were someone whose opinion I respected ,I would give a blow by blow account of why George deserved those rounds.
    But you aren't, and I won't!:hi:
