How does the Fury last round recovery compare with Holmes`s recovery vs Shavers right hand?

I think Tyson's is better. He may not have gotten the win and the title that he coveted but he earned himself a giant slice of history last night.

Hopefully this doesn't lead to a Jeff Fenech scenario where he gets discouraged and loses his love for the sport. A rematch with Wilder would be awesome as would a UK showdown with AJ. He would probably mop up just about everyone at heavyweight with ease.

Fury wasn't completely out, but that's not the point. Wilder's punch wasn't even close in terms of power in comparison to the Shavers' one. No active boxer would have get up from that devastating shot, including Fury of course.

Well you should watch the video then. Or the fight, because this seriously is not even close.

You're right, Fury is MUCH more impressive.

You need to establish your own opinion, you won't make such mistakes then. I didn't say Fury was more impressive.

Fury hadn't fought anyone with a pulse in 3 years, was totally inactive for 2.5 years, abused the hell out of his body with industrial amounts of alcohol, drugs and junk food all throughout his inactivity, ballooned up to over 400lbs and had to shed 140lbs of it back off, and was battling depression/mental illness, suicidal thoughts, and came close to topping himself. To do what he did after all of that, against the only live body and opponent he'd fought with pulse in over 3 years, and on their turf and in the final round was nothing short of miraculous.

But if that wasn't enough of a miracle, he also had a spring in his step when the ref instructed him to ''walk over there,'' put his hands behind his back and taunted Donkey shortly after and then proceeded to win the remainder of the round and even hurt Donkey and take the fight too him, all after rising from the dead after eating a nuclear bomb of a right hand from the hardest puncher in HW history - we know he punched a lot harder than that Ernie guy because he has a higher KO% than he did when he fought Holmes. Seven of Shavers' opponents had managed to navigate their way to the final bell against him prior to that fight whereas only one had done so against Donkey.

Let's analize some knockdowns, and find out if it's the chin or other factors!

Fury goes down and lies motionless then gets up starting at 9 and gets 22 seconds before the fight resumes and it's ungodly powers, Lewis gets up and the ref waved it at 7 and he is China chinned!
