Pac vs Marquez 1 was awesome, so exciting. Pac vs Marquez 2 and 3 were less so, about the same level of exciting as Canelo vs Golovkin 1 and 2.

I think the boxing community is formed up of two groups since about the 80s. Hagler/Chavez/Pacquiao/Golovkin vs Leonard/Whitaker/Mayweather/Canelo That's why the people who think Pac and Golovkin lost are the same people. Personally, I'm in the Pac/Golovkin camp. I think Golovkin is 2-0 over Canelo and Pac is tied 2-2 with Marquez. Nobody is actually pro-Marquez in all this, but they can be anti-Pacquiao.

Pac cheated when he was young and Marquez cheated when he was old. They're 2-2 and it evened out.

He's right. Mayweather scared him into cleaning up. Meanwhile, Mayweather and Marquez doped harder than ever. 3 great boxers and 3 great cheaters. But then I think all the top guys are on something. Even Golovkin being able to fight that well at 36 is fishy to me. I wouldn't be surprised if he juiced just like Canelo.

No, it's because he was defamed by Mayweather and certainly not wiling to be dictated to by him after such accusations.

And it wasn't a straigh tup rejection, they couldn't agree on testing start/cut off dates. Of course, many see the mere fact that Floyd was allowed to dictate those as NOTHING out of the ordinary for some odd reason...

It seems you are the one who either wasn't following back then or are unwilling to read direct statements from all the parties involved from 2009-2012. It is case closed. I'm not saying Pacquiao was afraid of needles. Pacquiao said that Pacquiao was afraid of needles. Pacquiao is the one that turned down a March 2010 fight date on a 50/50 split with Mayweather. That is a fact. You are the one that doesn't seem interested.

Please provide a quote and source of Pac saying he is afraid of needles.

I lived through it and read articles and videos on the subject literally six days a week for about three years.

I would start with google. You are the one struggling here.

That is because you will not find an honest soul who thinks additional drug testing in athletics is a remotely negative or unreasonable demand.

As for the defamation, Floyd didn't start saying all the stuff that got him sued and made him settle until after the negotiations for the March 2010 fight were over. There was no defamation at that point.

It was a straight up rejection. 14 day cutoff was offered by Mayweathers' team and Pacs' still turned that down. The furthest they came was agreeing to three scheduled blood tests; beginning of January, 30 days before the fight, and the day after the fight. That is the truth.

Back to the thread topic though...

Golovkin fans cry robbery yet claim Pac was rightful winner in a razor close fight.

Marquez fans cry robbery yet claim Canelo was rightful winner in a razor close fight.

Bottom line is they were razor close fights. Could have been any result. Everything beyond that is just your opinion of how you scored each fight.

Golovkin fanatics b****, moan and cry and claim GGG won because he landed a more jabs.
Canelo fans accept the fight was close and state their case very well why Canelo won, using only the rules of boxing, all while understanding why people who don't use the pro scoring system believe GGG won.

As far as the Pacquiao/Marquez fights, those were all very clear cut except for the rematch, which I personally thought a good case could have been made for Pacquioa winning narrowly.
