Defo more so $ than legacy.. That could have been Mosley in a possible rematch Vs. Cotto tommorow. Or maybe a De La Hoya III fight.. That This content is protected to Cotto defo pushed Shane's career a couple fight's back, but at this point I think Mosley is just looking for another championship and he might call it a day.
None what so ever. Cotto wont give him a rematch and if he didnt want to fight Margarito in the pass why would he if he beats Cotto? I think he fights some other fighters maybe mix it up with super welterweights.
Ummm depends on how boxing fans take it... Cotto loses (which he wont!) they'll say Mosley ducked Margarito and that he had a reason too, Probably would go as far as saying he'd lose to Margarito. Cotto wins they'd probably say the same thing
Not at all. Cotto is passed the point where he can be "exposed". He has proven himself. If he loses, he is simply a great fighter who lost a fight and thats all.
Just to clarify, I did not mean the impact on Mosley's legacy, but rather, the impact on Mosley's future options.
He would get the rematch with Cotto if he wants it much easier then. I think Margo will then go on to rematch Williams in a unification if he doesn't get the Hoya fight.
If Margarito walks through Cotto then it makes Mosley look like he's done. If Cotto wins decisively then it makes Mosley look a whole lot better. Although looks can be deceiving. I personally believe Cotto could have won that fight more decisively had he pressed Mosley.
Def.....So Margarito can walk thru Cotto but Cotto can ONLY win decisively???? Why can you also say "If Cotto walks thru Margarito" too....Just to make it fair....:yep
If he loses, which I may very well witness from seat #U211, Cotto is more apt to offer Sugar a rematch, I think. If margo wins however, I hope that he'd fight Mosely. Mosely's done well enough throughout his career and certainly did well enough against Cotto to score a few more good fights, surely. I can offer, just like I'm sure all of you can, a much better judgement after Sat. night. I welcome a Mosely/Cotto rematch, by the way.
