How does this Floyd do vs Thurman ?

If what you said was completely the case than Mayweather wouldn't have fought Guerrero and Garcia wouldn't have fought Salka



They don't fight him because he has a high risk of beating them and they know it

Also Maidana and Paulie have already ducked Thurman

 

Guerrero had a feel good story that had made him a little bit of a media name "boxer fighting for sick wife" is something you can sell.

As for Salka he posed no risk, yhe fight wasnt PPV and the audienxe were being fed a line about the main fighters fighting each other.

As for Thurman getting 800k it wasn't like he was carrying the show OR on PPV.

Thurmans numbers, for what its worth, are about 10% of the number that tuned in to see Yaegashi vs Gonzalez on TAPE DELAY in a less populated country.

If Thurman wants a big fight he will nees to do more than talk about being avoided.

 

Robert was unknown to the casuals ..

Salka was unknown to everyone ..

Diaz was also unknown to the casuals when khan fought khan.

Picks him apart. Thurman is the future but his style doesn't match up well with Floyd. He's just not busy enough. To fight Floyd at a pace that Allows him to think is always going to be a problem for anyone going at Mayweather. Unless Keith changes his style to conform to more of a pressure fighter I don't see how he can pull off the upset. I don't give this version of Thurman much of a chance at all.
