Don't think so. Bellew just knows he's got a reasonable punchers chance.

The way he's spoken in interviews makes me think that deep down he believes he is going to lose. He knows there's no shame in being beaten by Usyk, the thing he'd hate is being made to quit.

I think, from how he's been talking in interviews, Bellew would be content being UD'd but winning a round or two.

It could be a plan. Might not have been in planned tactics but Bellew done this v Makubu and Flores. It would need to be intense educated pressure as I think if he just charged in he would soon be stopped v Usyk. My gut feeling is he needs to get throw 6-7 rounds without taking much and making Uysk work then he needs to drag him into the tretches.

Personally think 2/3 rounds of chess usyk will win the rounds then bellew goes for it either hurting uysk or just getting counter punched all night long for me it’s either UD for usyk or stoppage for bellew between 5-8 but it’s a hard ask

Bellew can't win unless Usyk pops an Achilles early in the fight.

It's a shame whoever wins it looks like all the belts will be vacated again.

Bellew will KO Usyk and the internet will melt.

Just get him against the ropes and throw those hooks until one lands on the button

How does Tony beat Usyk? With a stick in his sleep would be my advice. But in a ring? In a boxing match? No chance. Short of a freak injury to his opponent he's at best getting a schooling.

Haye is not someone I would associate with having a good chin.

He was knocked down by a SMW as well as being stopped. Unless you are talking about specifically at heavyweight, but even then he was knocked down by Monte Barrett. We can forgive him about Klitschko.

More chance of GGG getting stopped by BJS.

Bellew is getting a schooling after looking OK-ish for a round or two. He can then fall back on being drained at CW as an excuse.

Here’s a bit of fun, here are the stoppage ratio’s of all of Usyk’s opponents. As part of my very obvious bias and clouded judgement towards the local lad, I have only considered Bellew’s fights at 200ib+ :p To be fair, almost all of these lads have only operated at 200ib or above.

    Gassiev 68%
    Briedis 72%
    Huck 60%
    Hunter 63%
    Mchunu 50%
    Glowacki 61%
    Rodriguez 66%
    Muller 47%
    Kniazev 39%
    Venter 54%
    Bruwer 66%
    Crenz 39%
    Nsafoah 24%
    Mendoza 51%
    Romero 39%
    Bellew 80%

Bellew wouldn't beat Bredis or Gassiev. Barring a lucky punch he has no chance.

No power? Bj Flores was never on the ground bellew had him down four times I’m sure? Makabu asleep on his feet, another poster put bellew a for a 80% stoppage rate but has no power?
I think bellew gets to much stick,

I don’t think he will say he’s drained at the weight he has been looking trim in interviews and has done the weight correctly

I know usyk is a superior boxer but you can’t right bellew off

He can have credit for Makabu but get out of here with Flores, he is trash.

I never said Bellew has no power. He is definitely the puncher out of himself and Usyk, although I think Usyk has power when he wants to.

My statement was that Haye isn't someone I would associate with having a good chin, quite the opposite in fact.
