    Lewis stops him late.

Pre prison Tyson wins. Post prison Tyson loses. Simple as that.

It would be a one sided beat down similar to Tyson-Holyfield 1

Mike was way past his best in 1996 and wouldn't be able to handle Lewis's power

1996 version of Tyson was much better than 2002 one. I mean MUCH better. But I still don't think it would be enough to beat Steward-trained version of Lewis. Not only Lennox har massive size advantage, improved his skills and balance under Steward tutelage, he also could hold like a crazy, Wlad style really. And even peak, 1986-88 version of Tyson couldn't avoid being held by lesser clinchers (and boxers) than Lewis.

So, I think Tyson would be more competitive than his shot 2002 version was against Lewis in their actual fight, but he wouldn't be able to chin Lennox who would hold him in every remotely dangerous situation. I think Tyson would win like 4 of the first 6 rounds, but after that he would fade and Lewis would dominate the whole second half if the fight. I wouldn't rule off Lewis stopping Tyson in rounds 10 or 11 but considering the fact that Lennox never stopped anyone past 8th round, I think the most likely scenario would be Lewis winning this fight by UD

And as for some people thinking that if Mercer was able to hit Lewis a lot, then Tyson would definitely get to his chin and as far harder puncher would KO Lewis, I don't think that would be the case. Mercer had excellent jab and he set up all his attacks with it. His jab enabled him to open Lewis defense. Lewis was always very vulnerable to jabs, and that's the reason why I would never favour him to beat Ali, Holmes, Foreman or Liston. But Tyson wasn't the jabber these guys were

Has prime Tyson vs Lewis been done in this forum before? I’d put my money on Tyson.
