There's a thread on height on this board, but I'm really wondering is how does Werdum weigh 245 whenever Overeem weighs about 255? Both are about the same height, and OVereem's arm is bigger than Werdum's waist! Sometimes guys have big legs, or small legs (big part of your weight), but I've never really noticed Werdum having big legs, or Overeem having small legs at least small comparable to Werdum

Look at Overeems frame when he was a light heavyweight. He still has the same structure now but hes packed a lot of muscle on. IE, if you had both of these two not train for a few years, Overeem is probably a slightly 'bigger' man naturally.

I think you mean the opposite. Werdum has a naturally larger frame, bigger boned and is naturally larger. Overeems structure is the same as he was at light heavyweight + years of using steroids. Overeerm has has packed on all the muscle to his frame that it possibly can handle. Werdums weight was probably about the same when Werdum beat Overeem in Pride by submission.

Yep, typo, meant Werdum is slightly bigger man naturally. Overeem has great genetics for gaining lean muscle mass though, and thats another form of 'natural' I suppose

Werdum is actually taller (he's taller than Bigfoot too) and just by looking at him you can tell he's a definitively big dude; just cause he's not rounded-off and shaped like Overeem doesnt mean he's not carrying muscle.

If you met him in person or see him next to average sized people you'll see he's genuinely a BIG dude.

Ignore the aesthetics and look at the physical size next to Overeem and you'll see how big he is.

Most of his fights have been in Japan where they don't care or bother to test. 8 out of his last 10 have been overseas.

How would you rank Alistairs last 10 opponents aside from Werdum which was just a dreadful noneventful fight? Lets be honest there is a lot of real easy opponents in there.

Todd Duffe inexperianced bodybuilder not a fighter
Brett Rogers overhyped and overrated but best on the list
    Kazuyuki Fujita :-(
    James Thompson :barf
    Tony Sylvester Who?
    Gary Goodridge :-(
    Cro Cop No Contest
Mark Hunt- even Sean Mccorkle submitted him in 1 minute 3 seconds
    Lee Tae-Hyun :huh
Paul Buentello- Kongo absolutely dominated and brutalized him. He is not a UFC quality fighter.

I see your guys point about his weight. It's just hard to tell by seeing him up there against some of these HW's. Compared to like Fedor you could tell Werdum is a pretty big guy.

Yea bro i agree you have a point man compare these two videos i think overeem cycles the roids pretty well because there is a big contrast on how big he looks in one of the videos compared to the other.

I really don't see a difference in those videos. Seems to me you guys are obsessing abit. I agree he hasn't fought the best for sure and honestly I don't know or frankly care if he beats Cain or JDS but you guys certainly are obsessed with the fact that Overeem is terrible and a steroid abuser with absolutely no proof. Its funny to me how you resort to accusations to try to discredit Overeem as a person and a fighter. Its as if you are biulding an excuse for the possibility that if Overeem were to face Cain or JDS and was to actually win you can fall back on the "Well its not fair because he is a roid user." If he is so terrible a fighter then the roids wouldn't help him beat the likes of the greatest fighters the world has ever seen in Cain and JDS.

Anyone with at least one functioning brain cell can see that Overeem has abused roids for the past few years, people don't just whack on 40-50lbs of lean muscle mass, while retaining speed/power/stamina. That just doesn't happen in real life. I have no idea why people plainly stating this truth upsets you so much.

I cant see any difference in those two videos apart from in one hes shirtless for most of it but he looks basically the same

EDIT: Also hes working out and therefore probably more pumped up but still very little noticeable difference

You're right, Overeem has used PEDs, Pacquiao probably has as well as most other fighters, why wouldn't they, you can get away with it and perform better which means more money. I don't know why people care so much about this part of the sport, it's just a cheap way to discredit someone, it's naive to think the only fighters using them are the ones getting caught, also certain types of peds are allowed for recovering from injury etc so it's more complicated than "he got bigger and is good, must be cheater".
