Not who you think will win, but how? I think, based on the weigh in, with Wlad's unusual lightness and ajs unusual heaviness, it looks clear that Wlad's strategy is to use movement and skill to drag aj into deep waters late in the fight where he's never gone before, and take him out late. AJ looks to just overpower, overwhelm, and blast him out early. I think the result goes one of these ways: 1. Wlad still can't pull the trigger, runs but AJ stalks and eventually catches and kos him in the early rounds. Ugly performance by Wlad. 2. Wlad puts on a boxing clinic, tires AJ out, and takes him late in the fight or wins an easy decision. Wlad in control all the way through. Great performance by Wlad, novice performance by AJ 3. Both have their moments, both are wobbled or touch the deck at different times, one of them comes out on top, but great performance by both fighters. 4. Some other result. Im hoping for # 3 with Wlad on top, but am afraid it may be one sided. How do you see it?
I think it will go one of two ways: A. Someone is going to dominate in a one-sided affair where one fighter completely outclasses the other, en route to an early OR late stoppage. or B. Both fighters are "too respectful" of each other inside the ring and the fight ends up being a 12-Round stinker.
I just want a slug FEST of some sort! I could be wrong but I see AJ knocking him out. Both are more than capable. Like I said, I just want a impressive slugfest from two big shw's.
I think people will be shocked at how dominant Vlad is over Joshua I see a clean, highlight reel knockout ----- somewhere in round 6 to 9
Joshua will come out aggressive and Wlad will be expecting it working a stiff jab and hooking off it. He won't be waiting to shoot that straight hand early either in this one. He knows he can't be too passive. Joshua will slow down by the 2nd after eating a few good combos and then he'll start getting picked off by Wlad more and more before he ends up going out from the big shot. It will happen somewhere before the 7th.
Honestly this is a fight I'm really struggling to predict, I can see either fighter dominating the fight, some boring 12 rounder, or an exciting competitive war ... really have no idea, but if I have to pick one case I'll plumb for 1.
I think Wlad will get knocked down but give a good account of himself considering his age. Makes AJ look bad but loses the decision.
aj hasnt fought anyone his record is worst than wilders they only picked this fight because wlad lost and they think hes over the hill which he could be thats it
I don't need it to last long, I'm not that greedy, to see them go for it a bit would be awesome. Rather than a repeat of Fury vs Wlad stuff.
