Loses to Norton, Witherspoon and probably Cooney. Wlad - Spinks is a 50-50 fght, I slightly favour Spinks.
Wlad - Shavers is difficult to predict.Wlad has a fraguile chin but thefar superior boxing skills.

Off topic, but I don't think Vitali would lose until Tyson unless he suffered a freak injury or cut. It's hard to put faith in Wlad if the unrefined version were in there during the first half of the reign.

It's obvious that Wlad would be favored over everyone Holmes fought until Tyson. Winning that many times in a row is a different story.

Norton would have zero chance against Wlad. None.

    Its a tough question.
If all the fights are in the rareified environment of Germany with the ref letting him throw 3 scoring jabs every round and spend the other 2 mins 50 seconds holding his opponent
    Or in the States ?
    2 different scenarios.
If its the second , he has such a bad record that we're not even talking about him now, thank goodness.
His fights were generally total garbage.

Norton tended to flourish against the out boxer types. It was the sluggers that gave him trouble.

Wlad would be one of the hardest punchers Norton faced and the other ones put his lights out. Same result.

The Wlad that existed in real life was extremely aggressive and defensively lax until he'd been stopped 3 times.

He lost twice to men with an iron chin who took his best shots. Another time to a man faster than him.

I think Berbick, Cooney and Cobb beat that version of Wlad.

Once he is adept at clinching and nullifying and providing he has a lenient ref, he doesn't lose again until Tyson.

it depends if he faces a failed retired fatty or not.

ken norton would beat him, and that would be it with no wbo soft title option.

He wouldn't have been a factor.

Unless he has K2 behind him and moves the entire heavy weight scene over to Germany.

Its like asking how would Sven Ottke have done on the world scene during the mid 90's amongst the likes of Toney , RJJ , Benn etc etc

Klitschko was a manufactured product and not a real boxer. He would have been the David Price of the era.

He was the David Price of his own era.

But he managed to successfully reinvent himself unlike Price.

do you think? naa he was better than price even in his prime. wlad was fitter, perhaps not as strong, but massively more committed.
