How does your p4p top 10 look now?

    I don't see how losing (well, not even technically losing) a fight to another top 10 fighter makes you overrated and not worth being mentioned on a P4P list. Have you forgotten that every guy on there has losses, except Fedor? Penn seems to lose every other fight, but he's consistently ranked in the top 5. Machida has a good record and has beaten some good fighters. I don't think having a close fight with Shogun diminishes that all that much. After all, this is Shogun, a guy who a few years ago was widely considered to be the best LHW in the world.

    Fedor- Best all time heavy and p4p, best current heavy, but p4p is going to get iffy in the near future. If his best rivals remain in ufc, then it will be hard to justify keeping him atop if guys in weight classes below him get better match-ups.

    Silva- Damn I hate to give him credit for beating Griffin. I called that fight from the moment it was announced. I posted several times in this forum that it would be a slaughter, and was made just to give him a spectacular showing to help his marketability. Griffin was the former 205 champ, with official wins over Rua and Jackson.

    GSP- Is still right in this running with win over Alves, and I have no problems with those that have him higher.

    Penn- Another win or so like his last, and he is just as credible atop the sport as anyone.

    Rua- Some were already ranking Machida higher than this. With his "loss" last night, I'm sliding Rua in at #5. When Rua came to the UFC and lost to Griffin, I heard he excuses about his injuries. I said to myself that only time would allow for the truth. It looks as though the injuries may have been a factor. Rua was slightly better when he faced Coleman, then better yet against Liddell, and last night he showed he's stepped his game up again since losing to Griffin.

    Machida- May have been blown out on my card last night, but he made Shogun work for it. Shogun also beat Evans, who was doing quite well for himself rankings wise before. Machida appeared stronger, and faster, than his should have been conqueror last night. Shogun was able to kick faster, but it looked as though his kicks were traveling a smaller range of motion. I remember seeing Machida land a low kick early, and being amazed by its speed.

    I've got some things to do, and can't keep going at this pace. Maybe I'll finish later

    3. GSP- loss to serra so i cannot put him above anderson
    4. BJ Penn- best lw in the universe
    5. Rua- is back and just beat the # 1 lhw machida on saturday.

    Whoa, just because Machida finally actually got kicked and punched in a fight, lets not get ahead of ourselves. The dude beat tito when he was still developing and murdered undefeated Rashad, the man who put the tombstone down on Lidell's career. And up until saturday was barely even touched in a fight, setting a record for the least touched fighter in UFC history.

    He was never the same after.

    Knocking off the likes of those 2 in that context says a lot. The dude is still wet behind the ears in the UFC which again says a lot. He does have one title defense, so you're lying now. :D

    I think that Rashad KO was the icing on the cake.I don't think anyone could get up from that mentally. Didn't Lidell defeat Silva after the Rampage loss? That was a stellar performance against a legend.

    Liddell defeated a more shot Silva than he was. GOod fight but they werent the legend they were 5 years ago.

    Ya I agree with that, but Rashad is no joke and that KO was the most vicious I've seen. I have a feeling he'd have a good chance a icing Rua. Just a hunch

    Hey, I thought Shogun won and was surprised by the decision but it is what it is. I've seen it so many times in boxing, usually against the guy I'm rooting for so this one is a nice present. lol
