It's easy for anyone to say they've been saying it the entire time, I've got posts calling this **** out since before the Clottey fight http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=6146479&postcount=6 http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=6206545&postcount=31 And a more thorough post after the Clottey fight http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=6293302&postcount=200
Not gonna lie, I gave Arum blame, but I didn't realize how big of a problem he was in the first place
ive said it for quite a while now. u just got to pay attention to what is going on. every time something positive comes up, arum shoots it down. he is so predictable, it aint even funny
I thought it was Pac and that bullsh1t "I'm afraid of needles" story! But now I truely think it is Arum blocking this fight!
Everyone who has been keen to the sport for a longer period of time knows Arums and Floyds history. Arum owes him money for two bouts, still! Why would Floyd want to fill that mans pockets?
I really think everyone is to blame, but I knew Pac's team didn't want the fight since the the needles story. Arum calling for a fourth fight with Marquez in May just sealed the coffin. May has been full of bs since suggesting steroids and asking for testing, his team sealed it with Ellerbe saying there were no negotiations after the second round of negotiations. Face it people, the blame game is just a shouting match and no is gonna win until there is a fight. Right now, Arum made Pac look bad enough that it's possible for them to concede.
Day one, I said. If Arum retires, dies, etc. this fight would get made in 10 minutes. Until then, this fight, as well as any combination of Mayweather and Top Rank fighters will never happen.
The negotiations following Pacquiao/Cotto. Anybody who understands that boxing is a business saw exactly what was up from the beginning.
