I can see this fight as PAC winning late round would be good choice though it defends on hatton performance..

Me and Radab get on very well. I was only messing with him. He thinks Pacquiao stops Hatton, I think otherwise. We both bring up good points, I think.

As for the Khan/Barrera farce, I had the privilege of being at the Arena, and considering it was my first fight live, I managed to enjoy myself irrespective of that bull**** decision. The fight should have been stopped after the 1st round, or at least certainly before the cards could come into play. The referee was conscious of the rules, and his actions catered for the young British star - no question about it. That said, if a rematch ensues, I wouldn't be so confident that Marco wins anyhow. He isn't the fighter he was. Him now and 7-8 years ago is night and day.

    Awful cut. Terrible

Radab makes the worst threads on this forum. Consistently pointless garbage about streetfighting, or rigged polls. A waste of a username.

Pac-Hatton is indeed a 50-50, I think most people would agree. That's why it's such a great fight.

It was a hometown decision. The cut was no worse in round 5 than it was in round 1. One of the worst lacerations I've ever seen. Though I agree, the legend that is MAB should call it a day. He looked far too small for lw anyway IMO.

When this was announced I thought hatton just had the edge, but now I'm pretty convinced of a Hatton win

You are convinced a British fighter will win? How interesting and unusual.

What has changed by the way, from when the fight was announced till now?

Perhaps so, but he has more credibility than lets say, Harrison.

I don't think its a 50-50 fight. I would say 60-40 Hatton. My reasons for this have already been explained in decent detail. Pacquiao is still relatively untested above 130lb, where he was getting rocked by Juan Manuel Marquez. This is not to say he has a weak chin, that isn't the point, but Hatton will hit harder than Marquez at 140lb, unquestionably. He's never fought at 140. I can't make someone like Pacquiao, who I believe to have a limited skillset, the favorite against undeniably the man at Light Welterweight.

MAB should retire. Him of 2000 would have crushed Khan inside a round, of that I am certain. He's a completely different fighter now.

Thanks for that Selfkill. 'Dinamita' sucks up to the slightest comment puting me down, in the process trying to kick someone when they're down. In reality he just validates what a nasty spiteful ******* he really is.

That's debatable. I think your choice is based on your antipathy towards Pacquiao. Harrison is an irrational fanboy, but no worse for his chosen fighter than say, Trampie for Calzaghe or p4pdabest for Floyd, etc. Get those guys off the topic of their beloved, and sometimes you get some decent points. If Harrison was obsessive about a Mexican and not Manny, I doubt you would value him less than the incessantly pitiful and worthless sewage that Radab sprays across this forum.

    True.

Marquez would rock anyone who has ever fought at 130. He hits harder to the head than Hatton does.

To the body, yes. Marquez at 135 has better power than Hatton does now at 140. Hatton is physically stronger, but he is an accumulation puncher, always has been. He does not have the single-shot power of Marquez. And will he hit Pacquiao enough to break him down?? We'll see.

Fighters with limited skillsets don't go 24 rounds with Marquez with a razor-thin margin between them. Marquez knocks out fighters with limited skillsets. Pacquiao of '09 is not Pacquiao of '03. Wait till you see how good his defence is against Ricky. He will be very elusive. You are underestimating him. If anyone has a limited skillset in this fight, it's Hatton. Mayweather Sr can't transform him. When he's in deep water, he'll revert back to type, and ship punishment.

Superbantamweight Barrera would crush massive lightweight Khan inside a round? I dunno about that. I do know that Barrera was a far greater fighter than Khan will ever be.

    You cowardly *****.

Instead of trying to turn Selfkill against me with your typical schoolboy analysis ESB reports, talk directly to me.

Your boxing knowledge might outdate mine, but your recent boxing opinions leave you a laughing stock amongst true neutrals, you crybaby *******.

Likewise, I feel your personal agenda against Radab causes you to undervalue his input in the General Forum. Unlike Harrison however, Radab has opinions outside of one very talented Filipino.

I disagree. I think Hatton being the heavier guy, who has a lot of pop himself, will be hitting Pacquiao to the head with greater effect than any Super Featherweight out there.

This is where we differ in opinion. I don't think Hatton has to break Pacquiao down. I think he could land a solid right hand on the temple and have Pacquiao all over the place. I'm not confident a fighter who was once a 122lb can concievably take too many full blooded shots from a natural Light Welterweight. This isn't about Hatton being a knockout artist, its about the smaller man taking shots from a naturally bigger guy. I don't think he'll pass the test, but we shall see in May.

I am perhaps underestimating Pacquiao, but I'd never describe him as elusive.

Khan was rocked the two times Barrera managed to land despite being half blinded and past his best days. During 2000-2001, even at 126lb, I think Marco could have conceviably packed on the extra pounds and still had enough ferocity, speed, and power, to stop a lets face it, fragile Amir Khan. The overall point however, was exactly how you put it. "Barrera was a far greater fighter than Khan will ever be" and its a shame to see him having to even share the ring with such a fighter to be honest with you.
