So what was your prediction going into the fight?

So this is the best version of Parker, then?

It's the best performance he's given for sure, question is, is it because he's improved or that he was simply in with a fighter who never had the style to beat him.

We need to see more of Parker, he still has flaws like any other fighter, Wilder wasn't able to take advantage of those flaws, but someone else might be able to expose those flaws again.

Okay, so in Parker's signature performance, he landed a grand total of 89 punches and threw an average of 20 punches per round.

38-40 year-old Ortiz looked better and took more chances against a superior version of Wilder, IMO.

True. Look at the way he repeatedly countered Duhaupas's jab with his OH right. This is a man who was outjabbing Wilder in their fight, so no slouch in that department.

I vacillated on this over the years but now I'm confident that Povetkin would have murked Wilder. Parker was always a sort of poor man's Povetkin, with none of the power or sharpness or great setup of shots, and Pov at the time Wilder ducked him was a bad, bad man.

Having a good coach has done wonders for Parker. No one is pointing it out.

I doubt he would have beat Wilder earlier in his career, with his old coach in his corner.

Some of the same guys who predicted Wilder would decapitate Parker within "3 rounds"

Now come back to dump on Parker for absolutely nullifying their guy in every way....

“but but but Wilder was washed”
“but but but Spence was washed”
“but but but Fulton was washed”

Everybody has seen how unwieldy and uncoordinated Wilder can be - for years now.

But you need tremendous speed and BOLDNESS to beat him. And most HWs are such plodders they would truly struggle to do what Parker did.

We saw Parker do things in this fight I have never seen him do. It's like he suddenly understood the game on a whole new level.

I truly hope it is the birth of a whole new fighter with tremendous focus, strategy and AGGRESSION.

I haven’t seen anything like this since Marvin Hart upset Jack Johnson.

Getting knocked clean out looks better than absolutely schooling your opponent? Ok.

Why did Wilder only try to KO Parker in the LAST ROUND?

Because he was getting constantly countered with HARD right hands all night long.

He looked gun-shy because Parker hit him hard every time he tried anything.

    Plus many other factors.....
