Nothing wrong with getting a prediction incorrect, I just don’t understand how some of you can make so many excuses when your agenda gets found out. Fury and Wilder were never clear of the rest of the division, they still have much to prove.

You're seeing an agenda when there is none. I am simply comparing Wilder's physical attributes from his peak to this current version.

Your conspiracy talk is a disingenuous and fruitless style of engaging; I have no interest in that.

Fury is the best heavyweight of this era. If Usyk wins, he will have beaten the best heavyweight and made his own claim to that recognition. To argue that is silly talk, my friend.

    Agree to disagree, "KINGWILDER".

Whilst also denying Parker credit for beating Wilder easier than Fury did, which says a lot.

I think Fury is the best, it’s still just a statement which he hasn’t proven. Until he beats Usyk, we simply don’t know. Beating a 39 year old Klitschko and a dangerous but overrated Wilder doesn’t make you the king of this era.

Why do you think that Fury is the best?

The win was so consummate it appears clear that Parker would've beaten any version of Wilder, it ain't because Wilder was "older". Parker had faster hands, better feet, better control of range and was actually able to take the one and two shots that landed without becoming flustered.

    Style plus levels = domination.

    Couldn't agree more.

Wilder was never one of the top 2 in the world, he was severly limited and overrated.

"a win over Ruiz would undeniably his best win to date"

Ruiz barely scraped past Ortiz 4.5 years and 2 KO defeats after Wilder stopped him. And Wilder's detractors were complaining that Ortiz was badly faded, even medically compromised in 2018. So I don't agree that Ruiz would be Wilder's best win. If Wilder managed to beat Ruiz at this stage it would also devalue Ruiz.

"it would play out the same way"

Along with his physical attributes which are in decline, Wilder's mentality was vital in his success. If Wilder no longer has his confidence, motivation, audacity, killer instinct or determination then he's not even half the fighter.

If Wilder has morphed into Malik Scott mentally (and that more or less seems to be the case) then he's finished and fighters he previously beat could turn him over. That's what makes Ortiz 3 interesting to me. They seem to be friends so Wilder can help Ortiz get a final payday.

Ortiz trilogy? Lol you can’t even make this up, Ortiz is toast and in what world would he deserve a trilogy.

The level of delusion to suggest Ortiz deserves a trilogy with Wilder even after getting sparked in their last fight and losing the first one. He’s past it and has been massively overhyped since the first Wilder fight.

Based on his size, athleticism, awkwardness, and the overall lack of top class heavyweights in this era. The version of Fury that beat Wlad for me would beat them all today. Still it’s just my opinion and he still has to beat Usyk and imo AJ to be the best. After the Ngannou fight, he simply cannot be called the number 1 heavyweight in the world.

If he'd won the first bout, it might be arguable - but even with the questionable circumstances, it's a 2-0 on paper, it's just not needed.

I think it was someone suggesting that losing to Ortiz ("on purpose") would be perfect evidence that Wilder is shot and the Parker demolition job doesn't mean anything... Desperation, IMHO.

The fanboys are desperate now their hero has been exposed as not being an ATG (0 shame in this, I think only Usyk and Fury are true heavyweight greats), it’s quite entertaining.

Yeah, we disagree. The winner of Fury/Usyk is the best heavyweight in the world. I don't think that what was essentially a tune-up exhibition against a UFC fighter changes that. You seem to want to give Fury credit while not giving him credit. You are one confused individual, KINGWILDER, and you seem to have woken up in the mood to argue today.

I see... and how would a prime Ray Leonard do against Terry Norris?
