How Excited Are You About Pacquiao vs Rios

Any true fan of boxing has to be excited for this fight but it is far too early for hype. It will get more coverage in a few weeks.

 

Why is pacquiao ducking Alvarado?

 

It's intriguing only because we all wonder how much Manny has left in the tank. Rios' only chance is if Pac is totally ruined by the Marquez KO. If he's not, it's gonna be a one sided ass whuppin, but either way it'll be fun to watch.

Gotta be an explosive fight for sure.

But it will end quick because either:

1. Pac is well past his prime and the KO appears to have a huge effect on him and is taking too much punshiment, or;
2. Pac wasn't affected by the KO and proceeds to KO Rios in under 6.

 

Solid fight.Rios never in a dull fight and teak tough.Pacman is there to entertain as well.The fans will be the winner regardless who wins,which will be Pacquaio.

If you are a true boxing fan than you will watch it regardless on what others think. I'm not excited about the fight since the matchup to me is not that appealing (same way I felt about Mayweather vs Guerrero/Ortiz) but I still going to watch it.

 

Not terribly. It'll be fun no doubt, but it doesn't set anything up. If Pacquiao beats Rios, OK, he did what he was supposed to do and besides a Bradley II or Marquez V (depending on how tomorrow plays out) there isn't much left for him that's appealing from what can be made with the political quagmire between TR and GBP/TMT.

If Rios beats Pacquiao, well then Pacquiao is shot. Rios dosn't suddenly become the cash-cow of boxing for kicking him while he's down. He could then be looking at Provodnikov or Alvarado III (depending on how next Saturday goes) but otherwise he is still the guy that got schooled by Abril.

 

I prefer Floyd fight more. I hate it when two guys come to fight and just slug it out, that's to boring.

 

You should prefer Money's fights if you are a true fan of the sweet science. If you're more into rock em sock em robots then stick to watching the CongROIDSman fight.
