It's a huge disservice to Boxing fans !!

 

It's weird though. It's as if Showtime knows both Ward and Bute will move to HBO after they fight on their network, considering Bute only has one fight left with them. HBO doesn't pick Froch-Bute up only because they know Ward-Bute, a bigger scale fight IF Bute beats Froch, will happen on Showtime.

Ward also has one fight left with Showtime, but it might be easier for SHO to sign him for an extension given how he's gonna likely fight once before meeting Bute. Ward-Magee will happen a couple of weeks after Bute-Froch IMO.

 

I think it will be a great fight. I didn't vote "can't wait" because I'm anticipating Mayweather/Cotto more and there has to be a distinction between the two.

 

froch will be too slow for Bute. Froch will get picked apart and have to fight dirty to win. Can't understand why Bute would go to england to fight, there is nothing in england boxing wise to risk a belt.

 

I don't understand their thought process with this one ..To me this is as big as Calzaghe Kessler yet one of them picked that fight up .But showtime will be kicking themselves if this actually turns out the way I think ..

Bute made Ward an offer to fight him in Oakland. Ward said, hell no!

Bute made Kessler an offer to fight him in Canada. Kessler wanted none of it and signed to fight Stieglitz instead.

Bute made Dirrell an offer to fight him in Montreal. Dirrell said, hell no!

Bute made Froch a $1m offer for a fight in Canada. Froch turned it down.

What was Bute to do? Fight C+ and B- level fighters?

The fans want him to prove that he's the best in the division. What choice does he have but to chase and chase those who are ducking him?

But yeah not excited at all. Froch will get outclassed for the 2nd time in two fights and I don't wanna see that

Yeah same here I can't even put my finger on why either, probably because I know Bute will beat Froch in his backyard and all the Canadians will laugh at us. I actually like Bute myself but obviously got more love for the cobra
