It good fight, im happy with it. Not shooting my load over it though, Ward- Bute wouldve been better as would Kessler- Bute.

Since I haven't had time to follow all of the ins-and-outs with the negotiations here, can someone briefly update me on this ****?

Has a date been set, and if so when? I presume the first fight is in Canada, then the UK?

    Shut the **** up, you anti-American *******.

Who is the consensus top dog in the class? Oh, right, Andre Ward. And what country is he from?? :deal

    Surprise. :deal

Both SHO & HBO refused to showcase the fight. SHO did so because Bute only has one fight left with them, and because Ward officially declined the fight. They'll go with Ward-Bute when the Froch fight(s) is done with. HBO didn't pick it up because they know SHO will not fail to put together Ward-Bute, which was the sole reason why Hershman signed Bute in the first place. Ward & Bute will probably then go their ways on HBO after the SHO megafight is done with.

Bute has a rematch clause (Canada), and took 50% less money than if the fight had been on SHO in Montreal (TVA Sports interview with Bedard). It was also said that both Goosen and Sauerland never showed interest for the fight even though Interbox sent them official offers. Interbox declared that if they need to go through Froch to get to Ward, that they will comply and do that. Bute reiterated he wants to fight the best.

Froch is delighted at the idea, and thinks he'll KO Bute in the UK and KO him in Canada as said on SKY.

That's pretty much all you need to know at this point. :D

Thanks for th 411, dude. Much appreciated.

So the first fight is May 26 in the UK? Honestly, it's not going to make much difference. Bute has better tools in Canada, the UK, the North Pole, or the far side of the moon.

    Bute UD.
