I'm a huge GGG fan and while I'm interested to see how he looks post defeat and with a new trainer, I also know this fight means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. He needs to follow this up with something legit.

Joshua would've been fighting top 10 Miller this weekend and he's been out of the ring the same amount of time as Golovkin.

I think GG needs to fight sub 90 ranked Rolls as a confidence booster after the Canelo loss.

 

If that's all it takes to be considered a soft touch, then there's about a thousand fights that need to be reconsidered as soft touches now.

I see this fairly often here. Vanes is certainly more a known commodity than Rolls. And the recognition of a names is what works for most here.
