Okay, so what is your response to the "Its a done deal" comments. Is it kept at the down-low for now until an actual announcement? Wouldn't they want to spread the word with the limited amount of time?

I have a lot of respect for Bert Sugar, and I think he is a very credible source. Even he said the fight was a "done deal", so I'll take his word for it. Arum and co. are probably just trying to keep it on the low for right now.

There are allot of details to iron out, purse splits, promoters percentages, location, HBO percentage, split of overseas monies, split of money from Asia, money from Europe etc etc. Its not as simple as 50-50 or 60-40

Did you know Hatton got all of the british Tv rights against Mayweather, which was 1million times $30 at the time, $30million and Hatton got a big chunk of the US PPVs

**** all that money and imagine if its so good it turns into a trilogy

Damn, okay so they could be fine tuning what gets allocated where and who gets what, but the deal could basically be done besides that. Is that why we have heard so little since word of the fight?

It will be done, it will be undone. The sides will go back and forth about money a few times, the fight will be called off, then back on.

We will see it. But it will be an ugly road. That's my guess.

The official word is........there is no official word. Everybody else is just speculating at the moment.

more or less like this. the reason Arum doesn't want to divulge details is that he probably doesn't want the media to jump on and off with it saying its not gonna happen etc and stuff. but i have a strong feeling that this fight will happen. too much money and of course, the boxing world cannot forgive them if this fight won't happen.
