Floyd Mayweather and Terrence Crawford. How far apart are they in terms of how skilled they were, the quality of opponents, where they rank amongst the all time greats etc

Floyd is obviously the better pound for pound fighter, but is it by a large margin? and how large?

Is comparing Floyd to Crawford similar to comparing Crawford to Horn?

No disrespect to Bud but his resume is filled with Angel Manfredy caliber fighters with one Carlos Baldomir(Indongo) in comparison to Floyd’s Career.. There is no comparison

Crawford would have knocked out most of the opponents that Floyd outpointed.

This. I like Crawford, but he has a long way to go before he can start being compared to Mayweather. Cleaning out the 147 division would be a start.

There`s no way Floyd could have done to Crawford what Bud did to Horn, pus Floyd would not have stopped a strong welter like Horn, Bud is far more powerful than Floyd was at welter.

In my mind it's a very large margin

Just look at Floyd's amazing resume. I think if I removed some of Floyd's big wins, he would have a similar type resume maybe greater with some of the other good fighter's he beat like
    Juuko
    Ndou
    Sosa
    Mitchell
    Guerrero
    Berto

I agree with this whole heartedly.. above is pretty much Crawford’s resume at the moment although I would add Baldomir.. He has the skills but his resume might be worse than any other in the top10 p4p

If Crawford cleans out 147 including Spence, Thurman and Garcia he'd only just surpass where Floyd was when he beat Corales.

That's when PBF started ducking and using catchweights to gain advantage so most of his wins from then weren't as good.

Bud has a long way to go.

Considering he is fighting Collazo next, I’d say he is a million miles away from Floyd.

    Infinitely.

Compare Crawfords' resume against Floyds', except don't include Floyds' 10 best wins. Advantage: Floyd, decisive.
