    ???

Got a cushty little hotel booked right next to the arena, just wondering how far is the walk or even how pricey the taxi will be to get into the city centre to go to the bars/nightclubs?

Miles. The NEC is right on the edge of the city. Depending what time it finishes, you should be able to get a train to the middle of birmingham which takes about 10 minutes but you'll need a taxi to get back afterwards.

And after midnight on a sunday morning in birmingham will be pricey.

Id recommend train from bham int trainstation which is only a 10-15 min walk away, well signed aswell. Personally id get a cab 10quid each way.

Yeah I'm staying there :yep £79 per night for two of us :scaredas:

Where's the good night spots then Brummies? Don't really wanna do any nightclubs, there's only me and my mate, I find it awkward when it's just 2 of us. Any good bars?

The actress and bishop is a decent pub, you get the odd knobhead in there though, the sunflower lounge is good too-mod music mainly. They'll both be open late, they'll be heaving though.

If your getting train from nec to new st, theres the Arcadian centre, little square of 7 or 8 bars, and couple of clubs within walkin distance, or broad street which used to be the main place but has quietened down a bit, I prefer arcadian,

Also off Broad street is Brindley place where theres a few more bars,

Inbox me if you have any questions
