If any of you seen him last night he blew away some bum in 3 rounds, but how far do you think he can go? Domestic, Euro, World level?
"Some bloke" that bloke went 8 rounds with Joe Murray and took Scott Quigg 6 rounds to stop Frampton had him ready to go in the second and stopped in the third that was only the third time he had been stopped in 41 fights aswell... http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=49292&cat=boxer
The more interesting question would be, how the **** did Voronin get a shot at a Euro title in the first place?....can't comment on Frampton as i've yet to see him.
Well he wouldn't be the first that hasn't really earned his shot but he gave Cook a decent test. Didn't get done on a shutout. He's a decent operator who's coming to end of career. Far from a bum...a word that is derogatory to any fighter really.
I agree that there is no such thing as a bum boxing but getting 3 euro title shots coming offa win over a 3-3 fighter and then 2 losses makes a joke of the title. The man hasn't had a decent win, his significant losses being his highlights....durable though by the looks of things
:deal bum, tomato can, glass jawed fraud. all words you won't hear from any true boxing fan. as for frampton, haven't seen an awful lot of him but very impressed last night. liked the way he remained composed when he had his opponent hurt, looks to have power in both hands. top prospect
I agree with you mate, Look at Lauri that **** constantly gets shots. Ok he's decent but how many ****ing attempts at title he need and when he does get beat that make excuse to give him another shot. It does my nut in. atsch
If they want to fast track Frampton they could always throw him in the next prize fighter Super Bantamweight division. Give him 12-18 months and he will be knocking on the door of the European title.
First time I watched his fight on tv watching a youtube clip of fights is a bit of a waste but last night he showed real class. A tv deal with Setanta / Premier Sports in the UK will more than likely see him move up with every fight each step at a time. What he did last night was great to see got the stoppage with ease.
