how far can rees go

I'd like to see him fight Murray and or Mitchell . I think they'd both stop him late on but they'd be great fights while they lasted which would play into each of their strengths . I cant see him getting much beyond Euro level if that . Of course as sky reminded us he was a world champion but thats partly due to him having the fight of his life and a mediocre world champion having a real of night .
I cant beleive he was fighting at light welter he still looks small at lightweight and a bit fleshy . Maybe he could have been a top super featherweight ?

 

Seems to me there could be some really good domestic lightweight clashes in the future Mitchell Rees Murray Watson is no mug himself

 

I can see him getting to euro level but not regaining a world title

 

Id be surprised if he gets another world title crack. Love to see him fight Mitchell though, that could be a war.

 

He will never do more now I mean.

 

When he boxed last night he looked great.

It was all so easy though that he started loading up and almost blew himself out.

Started to box again in the tenth and it came good.

Hopefully he can get Mitchell or Murray.

Also, this is Locketts first real camp with Rees so wouldn't surprise me to see Gav keep improving the more they work together.

 

If a guy who's 14-0 made him struggle in the LATER rounds, he won't get far.

I like him a lot and was glad he won last night, but Rees should stick to British level and defend his belt there.

 

Excellent hand speed and good movement from Rees. He lost his way in the mid rounds but came back well. Would make an interesting fight with either Murray or Mitchell IMO.
