So i'm looking at these guys at supebanta, and the devision is stacked, You have experienced guys who were former P4P like Mijares,Arce,Rafael marquez and Montiel, Poonsowat is up there as well and then theres this guy..................... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgQ_L8hMuVM[/ame] i dont know much about some of these japs may be some of you are better versed on these guys then me, but from the videos i'v seen some of these guys are Dark horses with bundles of skill. And its surprising that they dont get so much coverage internationally. I havent watched Ramos fight and dont know a whole deal about him either
He can definitely win a world title. He will be ready for the bigger names in about 2 years if he keeps progressing.
Toshiaki Nishioka is pretty dam good and reminded me a little bit of Manny Pac, his movement is excellent and punch's hard would be crazy if Quigg took him on, maybe one day but they should avoid him like the plague..
all those guys would beat him down to a pulp, out of everyone in that division he stands a better chance maybe against vasquez jr
Mijares,Arce, montiel, poonsawat, marquez and Nishioka would put him down, i haven't seen that ramos guy fight so i dont know about that one.
Obviously now the top fighters in the division would beat him at the minute, but we dont know how good Quigg will be in a few years.
Despite the Arce loss, I still think Vasquez Jr will become the main man at super-bantamweight soon enough. Unless Donaire's round of course. :yep I really rate him and feel that perhaps that defeat, where in truth he didn't perform too badly just a bit naively IMO, might be of benefit to him in his future fights. EDIT: Forgot about the original question! The names mentioned there, whilst being too much for Quigg at this stage probably, are mainly coming to the end of their careers so provided there isn't a huge influx of the stars at bantamweight to the division above, I can see him being in world title contention in 2 years or so.
Arce and Mijares wouldn't be too bad if he progresses over the next year or so. He needs the right progression fights though, Booth was shot and no offensive threat if we're being realistic.
