Kyrakosion was ranked in the top 5 by the WBC, IBF and WBO. Foster KO him in 3 rounds will give him a similar ranking.

    He's a bit old now.

I reckon his son might record a few defences of the european though!!!

rack up a few EBU defences, his mandatory will be Ermano Fegatilli, then 2 more defenses against Karim Chakim and Sirahei Guliakevich then maybe a world shot.

good fight but sadly promotional differences will likely mean that it never happens

You say promotional differences but Hatton cant avoid Warren domestically forever he is the biggest player and there just isnt a big enough pool in hennessey matchroom and maloney for them to get all the fights that they need for their fighters.

If they want to be a success at some point they will need to fight Warren fighters

im not even saying that though - its warrens choice really if burns fights foster...it goes both ways, i dont see warren trying to make any fights with hatton fighters, aint hatton avoiding frank at all

I hope he earns a few ££ from title defences and who knows maybe grab a shot at Burns. In a fight that he has a chance in. I like Stephen he's a good honest pro and last night showed ring smarts.

Like Mandanda said, he's opened up a few options for himself and should take advantage. Some good earning fights out there for him and he should really cash in. He looks very vulnerable at times, but i was really impressed with his tactical nous. He really understood what he had to do to win and got off first.

i dont think the burns fight will happen for jnr simply because jnr wins the fight and burns sell bags of tickets in scotland and warren will not chance that burn is warrens golden egg for his sky dates so the burns foster fight will be off for some while yet and i don think billy nelson burns trainer would like foster just yet he punches much to hard for burns and burns is only a busy fit boxer who out worked martinez who was brought over to the uk for nicky cook to ko and very nearly did, anyway its all ifs and buts about the burns fight one thing for sure is that stephen foster jnr as shown he as regrouped and matured at 30yrs old under maurice core and ensley bingham at the champs camp so i will be looking out for when he boxes next, soon i hope.

he needs to defend the EBU title, picks up decent money in the process and then look at a world title.

If Burns is still WBO champ at that time then it would be a good domestic scrap.
