Britain's Tony Jeffries in his 2nd pro fight. Can't tell squat from that. But ... * - He has a depressingly familiar habit of keeping his hands low a lot of the time * - He doesn't look that balanced, or that quick * - He hit Meissner with quite a few shots that didn't seem to do much * - His jab is ... a work in progress * - The guy he's fighting is now 2-10-0 * - He's the boxing Peter Crouch In short, I suspect I'm witnessing another well-intentioned but ultimately lacking boxer who will be turned, through no fault of his own, into another hype job by the british media.
you cant tell from this fight the oposition was very poor Jefferies probably should have finished him off in the first round
Ghana: look at the one active heavyweight from Ghana. Argentina: Look at the top Argentine heavyweight, knocked out in the first round by Wlad. When you make statements, please try and back them up.
It's laughable to speculate that British fighters are any more likely to be chinny than another. Like everyone else has said, it's early days but Jeffries doesn't look at all bad. He's definitely worth watching, I think it was a bronze he won at the olympics wasn't it?
