Well he should at least get to British title level, mainly down to the absolute dire state of the division domestically. Will have to iron out his defence a bit and get in with tougher opponents than the last one to really see how far he can go in the sport.

What weight is he fighting at now his last fight was listed at Bantam but I thought he was super fly or flyweight?? If he is at Bantam i can't see him reaching domestic until Napa & Davies are off the scene.

Hes a tidy little boxer, needs to sort his defence out a little, i think hes one of them fighters who goes in there looking for a tear up, to do that he is going to need a good defence.
Think he could lift british and european titles down the line.

    I no sexton personally.

He is ranked at Flyweight but there is such a shortage of fighters there that he mostly fight Bantams.

The Chris Edwards fight should happen by Christmas and if he wins he would be British and Commonwealth Champion after 18 months of being pro.

Edwards is ranked in the top 5 in Europe. So that puts him in a position to build towards European title.

beyond that who knows. I guess Broadhurst is a big fight for him down the line.

i can't see a european flyweight ever competing on the world stage unless they base themselves somewhere else and fight lots of mexicans and asians

Yep there will be some jump in class from euro to world level and i don't think sexton is able to jump that far.

Think he will do well at domestic and euro level

to be fair to sexton he is very very dedicated. he has two kids but has been aborad for up to a month sparring in europe and is planning on going to mexico and asia.

i guess he has to fight bigger guys theres only 5-6 active flyweight in the county"

I'd put him in with Chris Edwards right now. He's just a journeyman in any other division, Sexton should be picking up the Brit title.

Wlad Sidorenko is probably Europes best little man, that would be a good fight in the future. Not too dangerous because he can't punch, but he's a good boxer.

Brahim Asloum did win the WBA Light-Flyweight title after two failed attempts at Flyweight belts. But in general you are correct.
